Alaska Volcano Observatory to Visit Sitka

Three representatives of the Alaska Volcano Observatory (AVO) will be traveling to Sitka next week to discuss the recent observations at Mount Edgecumbe volcano.  They will do radio interviews, give a public talk, and be available for some Q&A sessions.  See schedule below:

Monday May 2:

Tuesday May 3: 

• CHUM Radio Interview on KCAW 11 AM – 12PM 
• UAS Natural History Seminar / Zoom Presentation 7:30PM with Q&A  

Wednesday May 4: 

• Backdoor Coffee – Q&A 7:30 to 8:30AM 
• ‘Brown Bag’ Lunch Presentation – Q&A 12:00 – 1:00PM (Karsh Classroom, Sitka Sound Science Center)
